We personally own a Honeywell Germ Free Cool Mist Humidifier, HCM-350 and there are times where it makes a lot of noise.
Sometimes we can press the “rattling” side against the counter or wall and make it much quieter. One other reviewer stated “It is very quiet, easy to fill and clean.”.
Water the Wick
This product does come with internal wicks (a filter like thing that generates the humidity).
After about a month and a half, the wick gets “gummed up” and the product doesn’t work as well. My wife soaked the wick in vinegar and that brought it back to “life”.
So, keep this trick handy. Overall, the product has worked well. I had been waking up with severe “cotton mouth”.
The kind where you wake up and put water in your mouth and let the water just get soaked up for a couple of minutes before your mouth starts to feel normal again.
After we started using this humidifier, my mouth was significantly better in the mornings.

However, those few that have purchased this product seem to be the one of the happiest group on earth. Either that, or this is truly a fantastic product.

The Mini Bear Personal Ultra-compact Air Humidifier – Cool Mist consumes a small amount of real estate on your desk or wherever you put it.
The reason is it doesn’t come with an internal reservoir.
The unique design (although there are some other humidifiers that also do this) is that this humidifier provides a place for you to screw in your own water bottle.
This makes refilling a no brainer. No more filling up a pitcher and sloshing in from the kitchen to refill. Just grab your water bottle and attach it to the product.

While this product doesn’t have a lot of reviews, it does have enough reviews to be fairly impressive with ZERO 2 star or 1 star reviews.
So, if anyone is not pleased with the Sharp KC-850U Plasmacluster Air Purifier with Humidifying Function, they just aren’t speaking up.
If money is less of an issue, this product would be our best one room humidifier.
But, not having unlimited financial resources, we bumped this one into 2nd place.

Yeah, some fans really put the FAN in fanatic. Ok. Not very helpful.
But, they were also very grateful to the company for how well the Red Canary Products HZ117 Humidifier worked for them as their best one room humidifier.
